The Nominating Committee is pleased to announce the following nominees for three expiring positions on your Virginia Credit Union Board of Directors. These candidates for four year terms on the Board will be presented by the Nominating Committee and voted on by members at the Annual Meeting on March 21, 2009.

Belinda W. Blanchard

VACU Member Since: 1982

Credit Union/Related Experience: 8 years on the Virginia
Credit Union Board of Directors. Currently Vice Chairman of the Board. Past Chairman of the Asset Liability Management Committee.

Employment: Manager of Local Government Investment Pool for
the Commonwealth of Virginia Department of the Treasury.

Education: Virginia Commonwealth University, B.S., Master of Business Administration. Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

Herbert A. Parr

VACU Member Since: 1957

Credit Union/Related Experience: 26 years on the Virginia
Credit Union Board of Directors. Past Chairman of the Board. Past Chairman of the Asset Liability Management Committee and other Board committees.

Employment: Realtor affiliated with Long & Foster Realtors. Retired from the Virginia Department of Corrections, where he was Assistant Director for Administration.

Education: University of Richmond, Business Administration

Donald E. Williams

VACU Member Since: 1958

Credit Union/Related Experience: 28 years on the Virginia Credit Union Board of Directors. Past Chairman of the Board. Past Chairman of Strategic Planning and other Board committees.

Employment: Retired from the Virginia Department of Motor
Vehicles, where he was Commissioner. After his retirement served as a consultant to national and international corporations.

Education: National Business College, Accounting
